Knowing basic facts about the European Union is of particular importance for persons working in the business sector, as well as any other persons living and working in Croatia and abroad. Since Croatia became a Member State of the EU in 2013, knowledge of the Union legal framework, which has important implications for international trade, and, in general, on regulatory environment of Croatian economy, as well as possibilities given by the four freedoms and the EU’s foreign relations become extremely important.
For the reasons mentioned, there exists a need for a course which would present the European Union in general and explain the background and the context of relevant EU concepts.
