2nd semester, obligatory course


The aims of the course are: (1) to make students capable of understanding conceptual framework of the scientific research in entrepreneurship, with a focus to GEM conceptual framework, major findings and lines of inquiry, and (2) to enable students to design and to conduct their own research in entrepreneurship, by using the GEM database, and following the IMRaD methodology. The second aim will be accomplished by enabling students to choose their own research question, enabling students to do the literature review, enabling students to analyse data using basic or advanced statistical methodology (Statistica software), discuss their results and draw conclusion, enabling students to prepare and submit a paper for publishing in a selected journal or conference proceedings in the field of entrepreneurship research.
